My wife likes to give me hard time about that fact that I get antsy in my work life every couple years. This will be my 9th year in real estate, which is far longer than I held any previous corporate position. Recently I made the decision to open my own real estate brokerage with two partners and go out on my own. While I will still concentrate on selling investment property, we are working on building an investor-centric property management company.
We named the company Rental Management Guys. Our philosophy is simple. It is a company founded by real estate investors who will run their property management business for real estate investors. Our Goal is to: Maximize Profits, Minimize Turnovers for the Real Estate Investor.

- Highly efficient and technology driven-We use a comprehensive software that tracks every property, tenant and dollar that is received and spent. It allows us to generate report, provide tenant and owner portals and even take credit cards and ACH for rent payments.
- 7×24 Maintenance call center-A trained professional (in the US) is answering calls from tenants. The tenants don’t need to leave a voicemail, catch us in our car or fill our an online form (although they can if they like). The maintenance request is instantly sent via email to us and the property owner is also notified, giving them a heads up about pending maintenance fees.
- No monthly fees-A common complaint that I have heard from investors over the years is: “why is my property manager getting paid when my property is vacant [or the tenant is not paying]. Our management fee is 8% of rent collected. We have skin in the game and we only get paid when you do.
